CTE SUCCESS CENTER TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE APPLICATION

APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR SPRING 2023 - DUE  8am on DECEMBER 10TH, 2022.

Incomplete and Late applications will not be considered.  Students are responsible for notifying the CTE Success Center for any class schedule changes. Textbooks must be picked up and returned to the Success Center, located on the Navarro College Corsicana and Waxahachie Campus.

Transportationassistance is available to assist students in courses that require additionaltravel. Those students can be enrolled in an internship, clinical, orpracticum, in which travel outside of Navarro College is required. If thestudent is selected as a candidate to receive transportation assistance, theywill then be required to have their instructor complete a form for proof oftravel. 

Transportationawards are administered after the 12th class day of the semester awarded. Fundsare distributed through financial aid, which monies are distributed via BeauCard.

All CTE Success Center Textbook awards are based on major, special population status and economic need.

In order to be eligible to receive textbooks loans prior to January 17th, 2023 student must be PELL eligible or meet one of the following Unique Populations requirements:

• Individual from Economically Disadvantaged families, including foster children, and low-income youth and adults.
• Individual with Disabilities- (WE WILL VERIFY WITH NC's OFFICE OF DISABILITIES).
• Student with parent who is a member or in active duty with the Armed Forces.
• Youth who are in or have aged out of the foster care system.
• Single parent-Including single pregnant women.
• Individual with limited English proficiency
• Out of work Individuals
• Individual with Disabilities
• Displaced homemaker
• Homeless Individuals
