| Welcome to the Kingston Intercultural Workplace Profile Tool
Hello and welcome to the beta-test for the Newcomers Empowering Business Employer self-assessment on intercultural Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). This assessment should take less than 10 minutes.
All answers are confidential and your involvement will not be disclosed without your permission. Your answers are based on your personal insights and will in no way be seen as representing the official policy or perception of your organization. Participation is free will have no bearing on other relationships you or your workplace has with KEYS.
This tool is designed for business owners, hiring managers, HR personnel and supervisors who are interested in furthering workplace intercultural workplace EDI. You may complete this with your entire organization, or a single department, in mind. This is not a comprehensive workplace EDI assessment but a tool to create a very general profile of an organization’s intercultural EDI strengths and challenges, measured against four intercultural inclusion axes.
After submitting your answers, you will have the opportunity to work, for free, with an Intercultural Inclusion Coach. This will help determine next best steps for improving your workplace intercultural intelligence. It will also grant you free access to a Kingston-specific Intercultural Intelligence Toolkit, designed to help you recruit, retain, and make the most of an intercultural workforce.
This survey is a beta-test, and will be launched on a larger scale in the fall 2019, as part of the City of Kingston's Workforce InMigration Inclusive Workplaces working group. Thank you for helping strengthen our community through intercultural diversity and inclusion.
