CTE SUCCESS CENTER TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE APPLICATION

APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR FALL 2025

Incomplete and Late applications will not be considered.  Students are responsible for notifying the CTE Success Center for any class schedule changes. Textbooks must be picked up and returned to the Success Center, located on the Navarro College Corsicana and Waxahachie Campus.

Transportation assistance is available to assist students in courses that require additional travel. Those students can be enrolled in an internship, clinical, or practicum, in which travel outside of Navarro College is required. If the student is selected as a candidate to receive transportation assistance, they will then be required to have their instructor complete a form for proof of travel. 

Transportation vouchers will be awarded at the end of the semester in December. Funds are distributed through financial aid.

All CTE Success Center Transportation awards are based on major, special population status and economic need.

In order to be eligible to receive a transportation award, students must be PELL eligible or meet one of the following:

• Individual from Economically Disadvantaged families, including foster children, and low-income youth and adults.
• Individual with Disabilities- (WE WILL VERIFY WITH NC's OFFICE OF DISABILITIES).
• Student with parent who is a member or in active duty with the Armed Forces.
• Youth who are in or have aged out of the foster care system.
• Single parent-Including single pregnant women.
• Individual with limited English proficiency
• Out of work Individuals
• Individual with Disabilities
• Displaced homemaker
• Homeless Individuals

Be a Non-Traditional student as listed below.

• Computer Information Technology
• Criminal Justice
• Fire Science
• John Deere
• Welding
